Creating My Living Room

Lance and I will be looking for a house starting in October or November of this year. Our apartment lease ends in January 2011. We are going to find the perfect starter home. I cannot wait to start buying real furniture, painting and decorating each room starting with a great pattern like Sarah Richardson.

I love these two Thomas Stools that are covered in a blue floral pattern. They go perfectly with the other fabrics in the room and they're a break from the same old coffee table. Here's another look.

I've began a potential living room concept, so check it out and let me know what you think. Sarah Richardson would be proud, I'm starting with a fabric called Kirby Black.

I think I'm going to paint the walls light gray or tan like the colors in Kirby Black. I'm leaning toward light gray. I've also picked out a great Sectional Couch that Lance and I have been wanting for awhile now.

I'm loving a dark gray sectional and this one is perfect including the price. It's a great bargain. I would also like to have a chair with the Kirby Black fabric or it's a great opportunity to bring in another fabric. Here's a couple choices below. I definitely want a different style of chair though, maybe an accent style.

Here's the style of chair that I would want to get below. Actually this tan chair might look good. I would replace the tan pillow with a rectangle or circle Kirby Black one. These are below as well.

I would end this room with white cotton curtains, a neutral rug and coffee table, ottoman, cubes or Thomas Stools. These items are TBD. Next time I'll have pictures for these last couple decorative items.

Cutest Flower Girl Dress Ever...I'm sold!! This dress is at Bel Fiore Bridal in Atlanta. My Flower Girl (Julia) and Ringbearer (Daffyd) live in Canada, but I'm sure they'll have something like this in good ole Canada.

Finding The Right Bouquet

Here are some more bouquets. I've been looking at flowers a lot when I go to the grocery store to find inspiration. I found some great ones today and I'll see if I can find a picture.

It has both my blue flowers and white roses, but I would like lighter, brighter blue flowers. Also both types of flowers need to be scattered throughout the bouquet.

Wedding Hair Styles - Finding Me

My wedding dress will not be strapless and it will have a killer back, but I don't want an updo. I need to figure out how to showcase the back of the dress while incorporating sweet, romantic curls. I also would like to find a beautiful hair piece to provide some sparkle.

Perfection

Love the curly updo with beautiful pure white flower and perfect veil. Completely see through with a touch of delicate, elegant lace. It's everything on my list except I wish I could find a picture with a non-strapless dress, side pony tail (or sweet updo I guess), hair piece and perfect veil. I'm not sure if the image in my head would be too much or not. If anyone can find a picture of this picture in my head please post the link. :)

Finalizing My Wedding Dress Shopping Weekend

Here are the three Bridal Stores that Kim, Erin and myself will be attending on May 29th. That's this Saturday!! I'm very excited to try on wedding dresses. I've scheduled my appointments and I'm waiting on confirmation from two of them.

Bel Fiore Bridal

My appointment is scheduled for Saturday, but we may go back on Sunday to let Erin try on Bridesmaid dresses. They have all of my favorite bridesmaid designers and Lett's Bridal in Lansing, MI carries most of these designers too. Perfect for my 7 other bridesmaids in Michigan.

Treasures Formals

They have Mon Cheri!!!! :) My dream dress is at this store, but it probably won't be in for another month. I'll have to come back to Atlanta when it arrives. :)
