My Bridesmaids Trying on Bridesmaids Dresses

While in Michigan last weekend, I had all of my bridesmaids (except Erin because she lives in Montgomery, AL) try on bridesmaid dresses for me at David's Bridal and Lett's Bridal. Here's the madness with 7 girls trying on dresses.

This is the dress that I think we are going to end up going with because the majority thought it was the most comfortable. I really didn't want strapless, but I may have them make it a one shoulder dress depending on what wedding dress I choose. This dress comes with spaghetti straps and I think I'll have them use both straps on one shoulder. I have to go to David's Bridal and test it out though before I have all of the bridesmaids alter their dress this way.

As you can see all of the girls tried on numerous dresses and we are going with none of these colors in the picture above. We are going with Horizon Blue, which is below.

First Offer - Perfect Home

Here is the house that we put an offer on today and hopefully it will be our new home. We will see what next steps are tomorrow (at 5pm) in purchasing this house. Ready to move in, paint, decorate and make it our own!

Me In Wedding Dresses

I tried on some more wedding dresses when I was up in Michigan last weekend at Lett's Bridal with 7 of my bridesmaids (missing one - Erin in Alabama) when we were looking for bridesmaid dresses. Lance's First Trip to Mackinac Island - Part 1

Lance and I flew to Michigan on Thursday for my yearly family reunion. While up in Petoskey, MI we made sure to visit Mackinac Island so Lance could see the most beautiful place in the world. Here's some great pictures that I took on our way over the the island. Enjoy!!

Our Wedding Church - Booked!

We've booked the church for our wedding! It's the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is the 2nd oldest Catholic Church in Nashville, TN.
