Elegant vs. Modern

For my wedding, I have two conflicting themes of how I want to feel on my wedding day- Elegant vs. Modern. I've displayed two different inspirational collages that I created on Style Me Pretty.

As you can see it starts with my wedding dress choice followed by the bridesmaid dress. No worries ladies, I told Lance he's not allowed to look at my blog anymore. Not that he does anyway.

I'm curious to hear your opinions about my choice of wedding style. I have to decide on August 28th when I go to Atlanta and try on the second dress- Pure Elegance. I will have to make my first and only wedding dress purchase. There's no turning back after August 28th! This maybe more nerve-racking than the actual wedding. :)

My Company Outing

On Wednesday, my team and some of the other health care teams went to a Amusement & Water Park called Holiday World in Santa Claus, IN for our company trip.

Bahari Wave Pool

A day off in the middle of the week was great! I needed a day full of tanning time and water rides. I'm not much for Roller Coasters, but I can do Water Rides all day long. :)

Gone Golfing

I've been begging Lance to teach me to play golf for over a year. Now that we are settled in Nashville, Lance and I've decided to start going to the driving range often. We went to the driving range last Saturday, but not before we went shopping to look at golfing gear. Here's what I bought and what's on my golfing wish list.

Nike Womens Tech Xtreme Golf Glove - LH Regular

You can't golf without a Golf Glove, so I bought this glove before the range. I tried on like 20 gloves and apparently I have large hands for a lady golfer. My ring finger is a 5 so I really didn't think my hands were that big, but oh well. Anyway, this glove fit perfectly and it's so soft.

These actually might be my favorite shoes and they would match my bag too. I'm going to use Lance's old golf clubs because they're graphite and he really wants new steal golf clubs. I'm super excited to get my own set of clubs and I'm even more excited to get him a new pair of steal clubs for Christmas. Eventually when I become amazing at golf, I'll buy a brand new pair for myself. :)

Oh I almost forgot to talk about my golf swing, I suck right now and I have a really awkward swing like Charles Barkley. Playing softball my whole life really hasn't helped one bit, if anything I think it hurts my golf swing. No worries though, I'm determined to work it out. I don't need anything, but practice, practice and more practice.

I "heart" Alfred Sung

I'm in Bridesmaid dress mode again because I will be Bridesmaid dress shopping with most of my Bridesmaids at the end of July in Michigan. Here's some really cute Alfred Sung Bridesmaid dresses that I absolutely love. Besides that David's Bridal dress below I'm truly considering these beautiful dresses. I "heart" Alfred Sung's short Bridesmaid dresses especially this first beautiful blue dress.
